Sodexo Live!, the catering firm in charge of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, has announced the meals that the athletes will eat. Sodexo Live! will open the Olympic and Paralympic cafeteria on July 12, with a 3,500-seat eatery offering meals 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the Paris 2024 Games.
The Olympic and Paralympic Village will host about 15,000 foreign athletes, with 40 different meals available each day centered on four themes: France, Asia, Africa-Caribbean, and World cuisine.
Every athlete will discover something that they like. In addition, there will be a salad bar with over 30 selections, a grill with meat and sides, a cheese section, a bakery section, a hot food buffet, a dessert bar, and a variety of fruits.
Athletes have more options than just eating. They will also be able to learn how to prepare one of France's most iconic foods, the baguette.?
According to St¨¦phane Chicheri, executive chef of Sodexo Live!, there will be a bakery in the Olympic and Paralympic Village where athletes can participate in workshops.

Between the Village entrance and the restaurant, a food court-style area will open up. It will feature a 500 square meter (5,400 square foot) outdoor terrace.?
A selection of unique meals will also be available to athletes. They were designed by Sodexo Live! chefs Charles Guilloy and St¨¦phane Chicheri, as well as partner chefs Akrame Benallal, Amandine Chaignot, and Alexandre Mazzia.?
