A few ugly terms used to describe the language used by Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal during his argument with comedian Kunal Kamra left internet shocked.Bhavish Aggarwal and Kunal Kamra spent much of their Sunday trading insults on social media, a tale that began when the comedian uploaded a photo of Ola Electric scooters gathering dust outside a shop, most likely while waiting to be serviced.?
The CEO of Ola Electric slammed Kamra on X (previously Twitter), accusing the comic of accepting money to promote unfavourable posts about the company.
¡°Since you care so much Kunal Kamra, come and help us out! I¡¯ll even pay more than you earned for this paid tweet or from your failed comedy career,¡± Bhavish Aggarwal wrote, adding that Ola is ¡°expanding its network fast and backlogs will be cleared soon.¡±
When Kamra responded by labelling Ola Electric's CEO an "arrogant, substandard pr*ck," Aggarwal once again fell for the bait. "Chot lagi?" Dard hua? Aaja Service Center. Bahut kaam hai. "I will pay you more than your flop shows do," he tweeted, inviting the comedian to work at an Ola Electric service centre.
The verbal war raged on even as Aggarwal refused to accept the numerous complaints lodged by frantic customers about Ola scooters. The Bengaluru-based company apparently receives roughly 80,000 complaints every month, a statistic that its CEO overlooked while constantly inviting Kamra to work at their support centre.?
While social media users agreed that both sides made valid points, many criticized Bhavish Aggarwal's language, calling it unworthy of a public figure. Here's what people said.
