Ola's founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal recently tweeted that the company has sold more than 1,000 cars through its used car platform Ola Cars. He shared the news on the microblogging website and claimed that 1000+ used cars have been sold over the previous weekend. He also referred to flying cars, claiming that cars have been flying off the shelves.?
So, while a few people congratulated the businessman, others expressed disappointment about a bad buying experience. They claimed that the cars were too pricey and there were even delays in delivery of the Ola S1 electric scooter.
"Ola Cars Carnival is live and over this weekend leading up to Dhanteras we sold 1000+ Cars! Check out our better-than-new buying experience" he wrote in the caption.?
Others complained about how there were issues with the website itself, and some said that the pricing of the used cars is greater than other platforms like OLX. There were also users who claimed that they were simply not satisfied with the buying experience.?
One user wrote, "I'm very sorry to say this that I just regret choosing @OlaCarsOfficial to buy a pre-owned car. Worst experience ever in my life. Coming up with a silly false price excuse just a day before the delivery. Trust I had in Ola cars was broken."
Users also said that?Ola Electric is delaying the deliveries of its electric scooter, and customers are not able to get a test ride of the vehicle.
Ola had earlier announced that it has sold scooters worth ? 1,100 crores. However, customers have claimed that they haven't?even gotten a test ride yet. There were also users who said that they have either cancelled their booking or are planning to do so due to the delay in deliveries.?
Ola Electric is currently building the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters at its Futurefactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. It has an all-women work crew, the factory is spread over 500 acres and will have a production capacity of 10 million vehicles per year when fully completed. According to Ola, it will be the largest, most advanced two-wheeler factory in the world.
