A train ticket examiner (TTE) lost control of his emotions after a Tamil Nadu artist gifted him with a handmade sketch during his train travel. A video of the moment is making the rounds on the internet.
The video, shared on Instagram by artist Akash Selvarasu, has received over 11 million views so far, with viewers charmed by a display of love and unconditional human connection.
The video begins with the TTE actively checking tickets and talking with passengers on the trains. Unbeknownst to him, Selvarasu is seated nearby, silently painting his portrait. The artist meticulously studied each aspect and created an excellent likeness of the TTE on paper.
As the train arrives at a station, the TTE climbs onto the platform, oblivious to the surprise that awaits him. Selvarasu approached, handing him the portrait. At first, the TTE appeared sceptical, hesitant to accept the drawing was of him. But when he noticed the resemblance, his face erupted into a million-dollar smile. It was a moment of sheer ecstasy for online watchers.
The TTE expressed gratitude for the surprise gift and greeted Selvarasu. He even asked Selvarasu to sign the artwork, hoping to keep the memories forever. They then posed for a shot together.
