A video of a couple on a two-wheeler falling into what appears to be an open manhole has gone viral on social media.
The incident reportedly took place in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. In the clip, the couple can be seen falling into a ditch after heavy waterlogging in the area.
The clip was shared by a journalist Piyush Rai. "Visuals from UP's Aligarh. Leaving this here," he captioned the post.?
In the video, as the couple struggles to cross the flooded street and park alongside a pavement, the vehicle suddenly tumbles into an open manhole - taking the rider and the pillion with it. Passersby then rush to rescue the couple. While they are dragged to safety, the scooter is no longer visible.
According to The Times of India, the person seen in the video is a cop and his wife. The incident reportedly took place when they were on their way to see a doctor.

The women also demanded that the colony should be handed over to the municipal corporation, otherwise all residents would stop paying property tax.??
