In an attempt to film a McLaren supercar, two scooter riders collided with another motorcyclist and nearly avoided a tragic disaster.?
The event occurred on Bengaluru's Vittal Mallya Road and was caught on video. The video, posted on X by user ThirdEye, showed the scooter riders chasing a McLaren supercar in an attempt to capture a video of the high-end vehicle on social media.?
However, what began as an attempt to capture the supercar turned into a mishap when the scooty riders lost balance after colliding with the supercar from behind, resulting in a chain of crashes and many bikers falling.
Sharing the video on X, user ThirdEye stated, "Biker who was tailing a McLaren supercar on Vittal Mallya road collided. People are infatuated with taking footage of supercars and building Instagram reels."?
Since its release, the footage of the incident has gone popular on social media, however the exact date of the accident is uncertain.?
On the X, the video has had over 106,700 views. It has also sparked a debate about road safety issues created by people's fixation with creating videos for social media.
In the comments area, some users criticized the scooter riders, while others expressed concerns about road safety.
