A herd of cows wasn't messing about as they caused chaos on the Florida turnpike in the U.S., blocking traffic for miles near the Canoe Creek Service Plaza.?
The incident took place on Monday?in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The FHP said the cab of a livestock hauler caught fire on Monday morning on a northbound turnpike?near Saint Cloud in Osceola County. The 47-year-old driver pulled over as the semi-truck caught fire, and opened the trailer doors so the herd could escape the smoke and?flames.
The fire department was able to extinguish the fire, but not before the animals spread out along the highway.
Officers closed the turnpike in both directions as they tried to put the cows into vehicles, causing traffic delays for over three hours.?
The driver was not injured and remained at the scene, as per FHP. The cattle hauler, which troopers said was carrying about 70 cows before igniting, was towed from the scene.?
Northbound traffic was diverted to State Road 60, while southbound traffic was diverted to exit at mile marker 244, troopers said.

The incident, reportedly, happened at 5:30 am and the clip was captured by a man named Joe Clift in Kent, UK, who was on his way to his work.?Clift had said most of the?cows?were grown-ups but they were accompanied by little calves between them on the highway.? ?
Drivers on the A2 motorway near Dover were left confused after they witnessed a large drove of cows stampeding towards them.?The animals charged through the road and waved through the vehicles. They were taken off the road after the Kent police intervened.?Clift said the incident lasted for?barely a minute.
