People not fighting with their tailors, at least in India, is a rare sight. People usually end up having a problem with how the cloth was supposed to fit or may be the length of the garment but most importantly it's the bacha hua kapda that's the biggest sore point.
For some reason desis believe that tailors are always after the leftover cloth from what they gave them to stitch.
And it is probably this innate mistrust of tailors that led a man in Bhopal to file a police complaint against a local tailor for stitching an underwear shorter than the usual length.?
46-year-old Krishna Kumar Dubey said in his complaint that he had given him a piece of cloth two-metre in length to get the underwear stitched but when he received it, it was short.?

"I gave him two-metres of cloth to stitch my underwear, the tailor stitched shorter underwear. I asked him to re-stitch, but he denied," Mr Dubey reportedly said in his complaint.
"The tailor charged me Rs 70 and didn't even include the cost of?nara (the thread used as elastic to hold the underwear). Later, he gave me a short underwear," he said.?

Mr Dubey, lost his job as a security guard during the lockdown. According to an?NDTV report, he is struggling to make ends meet. He also said that he recently borrowed Rs 1,000 from a friend to buy essentials.?
His complaint has been accepted and he has been advised to approach the local court.?
