The menu of an eatery in the United States serving South Indian delicacies has left people stunned. Why? Because the restaurant has changed the names of some of the dishes and is selling them for exorbitant prices.?

The restaurant is serving?Indian breakfast items under names like 'dunked rice cake delight', 'naked crepe', 'smashed potato crepe' and 'dunked doughnut delight'. Don't recognize these? Well, we desis often recognise these food items as idli sambhar, plain dosa, masala dosa and medu vada, respectively.
If that wasn't ridiculous enough, the prices are even more startling. The 'smashed potato crepe' was priced at $18.69 (Rs 1,491) while the 'naked crepe' was valued at $17.59 (Rs 1,404). The 'dunked doughnut delight' was available for $16.49 (Rs 1,316) and the 'dunked rice cake delight' was listed for $15.39 (Rs 1,228) approximately.
Taking to Twitter, a user posted a screenshot of the restaurant menu leaving people in utter disbelief.?
The description of the 'Smashed Potato Crepe' (masala dosa)says, "Crisp rice batter crepe served with a lentil soup, a tangy tomato and classic coconut relish."?
On the other hand, Naked Crepe (plain Dosa) description reads,?"Crisp rice batter crepe served with a lentil soup, a tangy tomato and classic coconut relish."
Many people were not left impressed by the restaurant's creativity.? ?

A Twitter user named Darshan Pathak (@darshanpathak) shared a video of the making of chocolate cherry dosa with the caption, ¡®Things like this will make you lose faith in humanity!¡¯ The video has horrified foodies and they are pleading with the restaurant to stop ¡®killing¡¯ food.?
The dosa making starts with the usual spread of rice-lentil batter on the tawa, then comes the butter. Then comes the horrifying ingredient the chocolate syrup, and the horror show doesn¡¯t stop there. The chef then adds cashew, almonds, raisins and even cherry in the dosa! Then the dosa is made ready to serve.??
