According to a new study from LinkedIn, the top companies to work for are well-known names in technology, healthcare, and financial services.
On Tuesday, LinkedIn released its yearly Top Companies list, which identifies the 50 best workplaces in the U.S. for professionals to advance their careers.
JP Morgan Chase & Co. took the number one position, with other familiar companies like Verizon, Amazon, and Wells Fargo making up the top 10.
To determine the rankings, LinkedIn assessed each company based on various factors, including gender diversity, opportunities for employee development, and how quickly and frequently employees are promoted.
LinkedIn published two lists as part of its report: one for midsize companies with at least 250 employees, and another for large companies with 5,000 employees or more.
JP Morgan Chase is committed to attracting and nurturing a diverse workforce. Initiatives like the Emerging Talent Program, which offers opportunities for candidates without college degrees, and Year Up, a tuition-free development program that sees over 65% of participants move into full-time roles, are examples of these efforts.
Amazon provides free AI skills training through its AI Ready program, available to everyone, including employees. The company has invested $12 million in generative AI scholarships.
At Wells Fargo, over 90% of positions prioritize relevant skills over college degrees. The Professional Development Program offers training, networking, and mentorship opportunities for career advancement, as part of its collaboration with OneTen.
Deloitte is dedicated to offering personalized learning and development opportunities for employees, focusing on critical leadership skills such as stress management, as well as tech skills related to AI, quantum computing, and 5G.
