The much awaited Ram Mandir¡¯s grand inauguration ceremony was finally held on 22nd January. The historic religious event was attended by thousands of devotees and guests, right from India¡¯s PM Modi, Bollywood celebrities to sports and business personalities.?
And now that the grandeur ceremony is done and the temple is open for devotees to come and seek Lord Ram¡¯s blessings, let us deep dive and get to know about a little known Tata group company that is playing a key role in Ram Mandir¡¯s construction and design, which is being done at an estimated cost of Rs 1,800 crore.
In November 2020, the temple construction committee set up by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust appointed engineering and construction giant L&T along with Tata Consulting Engineers as the design & build contractor and project manager consultant for the development of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Since then, Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd (TCEL) has played a key role, along with Larsen and Toubro (L&T), in the construction and designing of Ayodhya¡¯s Ram Mandir. TCEL¡¯s website also confirms that the Ayodhya Ram Mandir¡¯s planning is a project under the company.?

Established in 1962, TCEL has engineered 11,000+ projects across 60+ countries. Since six decades, TCEL is known as "Engineers to the Nation", having played key roles in end-to-end solutions from concept to commissioning, project management consultancy & asset life cycle management.
TCEL was also proudly a part of the project that made the world's tallest statue the Sardar Patel Statue of Unity, for which it worked with L&T, similar to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir project.
