The Korean-drama which is a medical thriller will have a lot to offer to its viewers. A discredited neurosurgeon who is eager to push the limits of neuroscience and performs illegal surgery is the subject of this Korean medical thriller. Hyper Knife started airing episodes from March 19 and two episodes every Wednesday will be released till 9th April 2025.
Plot
The compelling medical K-drama Hyper Knife centers on Dr. Jung Se-ok (Park Eun-bin), a talented and fearless neurosurgeon whose career is ruined after a controversy results in her losing her medical license. Unfazed and driven by an unquenchable desire for creativity, Dr. Jung Se-ok keeps pushing the boundaries of neuroscience by performing unapproved procedures. Ultimately, this unconventional and risky approach brought Dr. Jung Se-ok into contact with her tumultuous past mentor, the distinguished Dr. Choi Deok-hee (Sul Kyung-gu). Years later, when their paths cross again, Dr. Jung Se-ok is forced to face the repercussions of her behavior and the actual price of her unrelenting quest for medical advancements.
Cast and crew
In addition to Park Eun Bin and Sul Kyung Gu, the series features a great supporting cast. Park Byung Eun portrays Han Hyeon Ho, an anesthesiologist who turns into a crucial ally of Jung Se Ok, and Yoon Chan Young plays Seo Yeong Ju, a loyal and unwavering follower of Se Ok.
Hyper Knife was written by Kim Sun Hee and directed by Kim Jung Hyun, who previously worked on Crazy Love and My Fellow Citizens.
