OMG 2 Teaser: Akshay And Pankaj Leave The Internet Flooded With Chants Of ¡®Har Har Mahadev¡¯

The much-anticipated teaser of Akshay Kumar¡¯s OMG 2 was released on 11th July. The film will arrive in theatres exactly 1 month down, on August 11. Other than Akshay, this satirical comedy-drama will reportedly revolve around the Indian education system and will also star Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam and Arun Govil in pivotal roles.

OMG 2 is directed and written by Amit Rai and is being bankrolled by Viacom 18 Studios, Cape of Good Films and Wakaoo Films.

While sharing the teaser, Akshay wrote, "Rakh vishwas (Keep faith). #OMG2Teaser out now. #OMG2 in theatres on August 11." The teaser features Akshay emerging from a river in Lord Shiva¡¯s avatar to protect his devotee played by Pankaj Tripathi.

For the unversed, OMG 2 is the sequel to 2012¡¯s OMG ¨C Oh My God! which starred Akshay as Lord Krishna. The film directed by Umesh Shukla also starred Paresh Rawal, Mithun Chakraborty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Om Puri, Murli Sharma, and Govind Namdeo.

It would be an interesting day to witness on 11th August as OMG 2 will be clashing with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel¡¯s upcoming patriotic drama Gadar 2, which is again a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster with the same name. Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor's Animal was also scheduled for the same day but will now release on December 1.

As we know how impactful South Indian films have become across the country. OMG 2 and Gadar 2 must fear for the day. On the non-Hindi belt, these two films will clash with Rajinikanth's action comedy Jailer co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, and Shiva Rajkumar.
