Ranbir Kapoor Slammed For Saying He Doesn't Want Daughter Raha To Take Alia Bhatt¡¯s Personality
During the promotional tour of his romantic comedy ¡®Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar¡¯, the actor revealed how Raha looks and what he wants her to be like when she grows up.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are having a great time parenting their daughter, Raha Kapoor. They're both first-time parents and connect through their shared challenges and victories.
While Alia admits to having a "bit more open heart" after having Raha, Ranbir has some other concerns.
Ranbir said he prefers that Raha adopt his character rather than Alia's because he "cannot handle two of them" in one go.
During the promotional tour of his romantic comedy ¡®Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar¡¯, the actor revealed how Raha looks and what he wants her to be like when she grows up.
During an interview for his romantic comedy "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar," the actor highlighted Raha's looks and shared what he wants his daughter to be like when she grows up.
"I told Alia I hope she (Raha) looks like you. She will be a nicer-looking person if she looks like you. I hope she has my personality and not your personality," Ranbir told GoodTimes.
Ranbir also added that it'd be a "daunting task" for him to handle another girl like Alia.
Ranbir called his wife someone having a "very loud personality¡she talks a lot; she is very vivacious." Ranbir said, "Now I think two girls like this at home would be quite a daunting task for me. So, I hope Raha is quiet like me so we can handle Alia."
Ranbir's comments have rubbed people the wrong way. Netizens slammed Ranbir for his mysgoistinc comments and said it's inappropriate to talk about a partner like that!
Lol its completely patriarchy based in kapoor family. And 90% of indian families.

Indian men disrespect their wives like this on any platform they get. Very few stars stand out. When one of India's top raiders and one of strongest Kabaddi player Maninder Singh was asked about the most memorable moment of his life, he said it was when he got married

What else can you expect from a husband who was forced to marry on gunpoint. If it wasn't for the child, Ranbir wouldn't have ever married Alia. Besides, he's a manchild so such statements doesn't suprise me anymore. Hope Raha gets a better boyfriend/husband when she grows up. https://t.co/Pg9efvRyyj
