¡®Epitome Of Secularism¡¯, Fans Hail SRK As He Visits Vaishno Devi Days After Performing Umrah
SRK who was spotted performing Umrah earlier this month has now visited the Vaishno Devi shrine. Fans have taken to the internet and showered their love for the Dunki actor.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return to theatres after a hiatus of four years. Alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, SRK is awaiting the release of Pathaan. As the release day inches closer, Shah Rukh is seen offering prayers at various religious locations.
After impressing his fans by performing Umrah in Mecca, SRK was spotted paying a visit to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.

Fans showered their love for him in the comments section. One user wrote, ¡°He is walking with everyone and not taking special treatment. Very good,¡± tweeted one. Another replied, ¡°Pathaan means so much for him that he is going for mannat.¡± ¡°He went to Mecca first and now Vaishno Devi. True secular King Khan,¡± wrote the third user.

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative award for his works as the 'international icon of cinema and culture.'
Talking about the win, he shared, ¡°I shamelessly and brazenly say I like awards. I like the whole idea because it¡¯s not for a specific job that I have done. I have been trying to make people happy for the last 32 years, sometimes successfully, sometimes not, but I feel nice. I sometimes feel being recognised for this work is not something individual, it¡¯s for the film industry in India.¡±
¡°I am very fortunate and lucky that I get chosen in places to be the face of the Indian film industry. I am just very happy that I can go and tell the stories of Indian films and how we make cinema to the rest of the work and bring it forth, hopefully, people will see them more around, whether I am in those films or not,¡± he further added.
On the work front, SRK¡¯s Pathaan is set to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 25, 2023. The same year, SRK¡¯s Dunki opposite Taapsee Pannu and Jawan will also witness a theatrical release.
