Celebrated Indian producer Allu Aravind says he is sure RRR will win an Oscar.
He told India Today, "RRR won the Golden Globes 2023 already. But, it's going to win the Oscars too. It's my belief. We have to own it and not see it just as a Rajamouli film or a Keeravaani musical. We have to see it as a recognition of Telugu cinema and Indian cinema. We should be proud that a film from India has gone to the international platform.¡±
¡°And, getting a nomination at the Oscars is no joke. Now, doors are open for us. It's a huge encouragement for the entertainment industry." For the unversed where RRR's song Naatu Naatu is running to win an Oscar in the Original Song category, All That Breathes and The Elephant Whisperers are competing in the documentaries category.
