The temple can be found in Bharatkund, near the Ayodhya-Gorakhpur highway. Interestingly, this is the very place where, during Lord Shri Ram's exile, his brother Bharat ascended to the throne of Ayodhya for a period of 14 years by placing Lord Ram's wooden sandals on the Khandau throne.
