"Harassment Has To Stop": Grammy Winner Ricky Kej Slams Peyush Bansal, Lenskart Over Marketing Calls
Kej said that he was contemplating taking legal action to end the unwanted calls in a tweet in which he tagged the handle of the firm as well as that of CEO Peyush Bansal.
After placing an order with Lenskart, Grammy-winning singer Ricky Kej took to social media to complain about what he calls "harassing" phone calls from the company.
Kej said that he was contemplating taking legal action to end the unwanted calls in a tweet in which he tagged the handle of the firm as well as that of CEO Peyush Bansal.
"Dear @Lenskart_com and @peyushbansal, again, I have respect for your brand, but the constant HARASSMENT HAS TO STOP," Kej tweeted on March 6.
Dear @Lenskart_com @peyushbansal .. again, I have respect for your brand, but the constant HARASSMENT HAS TO STOP. I asked multiple times to be removed from your telemarketing database. It was promised.. but I still keep getting calls. Would legal action help?

The musician said he was "cursed" since he had purchased from Lenskart's website, and the only cure he could think of was changing his phone number.
It's like I have been cursed for placing an order with you. Looks like the only way this will stop is if either I change my phone number, or if @Lenskart_com shuts down.

Kej claimed that he had made many attempts to have his information removed from Lenskart's telemarketing database.
If there is such desperation to retain customers, where you will go to any unethical lengths, then maybe stop at text messages. Why these phone calls?? So intrusive!
