Well, doesn¡¯t Ayesha remind us of Pakistan¡¯s ¡®Pawry Ho Rahi Hai¡¯ girl Dananeer Mobeen?
Dananeer Mobeen went viral quite some time back for her accent-filled pronunciation. She became an overnight internet sensation after posting a clip featuring her friends in which she said, "Yeh humaari car hai, aur yeh hum hai. Aur yeh humari pawri ho rahi hai (This is our car, and this is us. And we are having a party)."
Soon after that Indian musician Yashraj Mukhate created a mashup of it and the result was another trending video. Here¡¯s a throwback of it:-
Speaking about the reception, Dananeer Mobeen told BBC Urdu back then, "We were having fun and listening to music when I suddenly took my phone out and made the video. The rest is history. I am so happy that my light-hearted video is also being enjoyed across the border, especially at a time when there is a lot of tension and polarisation in the world.¡±
