Paresh Rawal¡¯s blunt and no filter views have time and again landed put him in a controversial spot. A few weeks ago, his nasty tweets and controversial comments against author Arundhati Roy were in news. Making a valid point that artists and cricketers are not the ones who throw bombs, actor-politician Paresh Rawal says he would love to work in Pakistani serials and films. Talking to PTI, he said,
¡°Yes, I would love to work in Pakistani films and shows. I love all Pakistani TV serials like Humsafar, the way they act, the story, the writing, the language...it¡¯s all good. I feel our shows are boring.¡±
Considering how Pakistani artists including Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan had to face a lot of troubles post the ban of Pakistani artistes in India, we wonder if Paresh Rawal¡¯s comments would blow up into another controversy.
We don¡¯t know how his comments would be taken but his views on why artists should be kept away from political discord and turbulence is what we all wouldn¡¯t mind agreeing on.
