Prince Narula On Producers Launching Star Kids, 'Don¡¯t Know If We Will Ever Get A Chance'
Prince Narula has opened up about not getting a chance in Bollywood films as producers have so many star kids to launch in the industry.
Prince Narula, who shot to fame after winning the three most popular reality TV shows - MTV Roadies 12, MTV Splitsvilla 8, Bigg Boss 9 has opened up about the struggles to find an entry in Bollywood.
Expressing his desire to star in Bollywood movies, the realty TV star highlighted there aren¡¯t many opportunities for outsiders in Bollywood.
In an exclusive conversation with YouTuber Siddharth Kannan, Prince Narula, who was recently seen in the reality TV show Lock Upp said, ¡°Everyone wants to be seen on the silver screen but they have so many star kids to launch that we don¡¯t know if we will ever get a chance. By the time we do it will be too late."
He further stated, "Even if we get a role, it will be a brother¡¯s role or some other supporting role. So, I feel you should excel in whatever field you are and I feel I am excelling at doing reality shows."
Prince Narula also expressed that though entry into Bollywood is tough, a lot has changed since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. He said, ¡°People¡¯s perception has changed a lot since Sushant¡¯s passing.¡±
The reality show star also highlighted that even star kids needs to work hard to become successful and it's not their fault that they are the kids of famous actors.
¡°People love star kids; it¡¯s not their fault that their parents are stars. It¡¯s not like they can move ahead in life without working hard because there are many star kids who have flopped. So I feel it is your hard work that counts, that is the only thing that matters,¡± the 31-year-old Prince Narula said.
Talking about at time he was a contestant in Bigg Boss Season 9, Prince Narula said that he was rejected by 9 of the then contestants to make a pair with him because they didn't known his background and which shows he had done in the past. He also said that he never seeks help from others when it comes to his work.
"I have created my own path. I have never approached anyone seeking work as I believe I am a hardworking person," the Nach Baliye 9 winner said.
On the personal front, Prince Narula is married to actress Yuvika Choudhary, who has appeared in Bollywood movies such as Summer 2007 and Toh Baat Pakki! and Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone's Om Shanti Om.
