R Madhavan is basking in the success of his last release Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, a biopic on Nambi Narayan in which he not only played the lead role but also made his directorial debut.
The actor who is fondly remembered as Maddy from Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein recently met with Rajinikanth.

The Thaliavar honoured him and the real hero Nambi Narayanan for the success of the movie. Madhavan took to Instagram to share photos and videos in which he can be seen touching the legendary star's feet as he facilitates them both with a traditional stole as a mark of love and respect.

The Vikram Vedha star wrote in the caption, "When you get the blessings from a one man industry & the very Legend himself, in the presence of another Legend .. it¡¯s a moment etched for eternity.Thank you for your kindest words and affection #rajnikanth sir. Earlier, Rajinikanth had shared a note of appreciation for R Madhavan.
He wrote in Tamil, " The film Rocketry is a must-watch movie, especially for young people. In his directorial debut, Madhavan has proven that he is equal to ace directors. He has shown Padma Bhushan awardee Nambi Narayanan's sacrifices and sufferings in the most realistic manner. I thank and appreciate him for making such a movie."

Meanwhile, the film is streaming on Voot Select. Madhavan is now excited for the OTT release of the movie. He told PTI, "This is one story I felt the world needed to know. The boon of OTT has paved the way for viewers to watch content with ease of convenience and catch films in case they have missed the theatrical release window. Rocketry¡¯s premiere in Hindi on Voot Select will help us connect with audiences from all parts of the country and I¡¯m looking forward to more love pouring in."
