Taapsee Gears Up for Her First Stage Act
For the first time ever in her career, Taapsee will be performing to popular tracks at the Filmfare Awards this weekend.
Taapsee is widely regarded as one of the few good dancers among contemporary actresses in South Indian cinema.
While several other lead actresses have gone ahead to perform live at award ceremonies and other special events, Taapsee has, surprisingly, stayed away from joining the bandwagon. However, all that is about to change this weekend and the actress is visibly quite excited.
For the first time ever in her career, Taapsee will be performing to popular tracks at the Filmfare Awards this weekend. The event is going to be held in Chennai on July 12 and several top celebrities from the South are expected to grace the event.
Taapsee has already landed in Chennai to rehearse her dance moves and she took to her micro-blogging page to spill the beans.
"Touchdown Chennai. Performing live on stage for the first time. Looking forward to a good debut here as well. Filmfare awards(south) 2014 (sic)," she posted on her page.
Meanwhile, she's eagerly awaiting the release of Vai Raja Vai, in which she has played a special role and she'll also be seen in Raghava Lawrence's upcoming horror comedy, Muni 3.
