Family Of Techie Who Was Brutally Lynched In Karnataka Seeks Justice, Urges For Proper Investigation
Azam¡¯s family ordered a proper investigation into the matter on Sunday after his burial took place on Saturday. They approached the Telangana government to punish the accused with the support of Karnataka government.
Mohammad Azam, a 32-year-old, Hyderabad based techie who worked for Google and three others were returning to Hyderabad when a mob attacked them and lynched Azam who died on the spot while two others battled for their lives in Hyderabad hospital.
Azam was on vacation with his three friends, Salham Eid Al Kubasi, a Qatari national and Noor Mohammad.

It all began with Salham's innocent act of offering chocolates to some children he came across in Thoul village. Amid all the child lifting rumors making rounds on WhatsApp some villagers who saw this confronted them. He was lynched at Murki village in Bidar on Friday.

Mohammad Akram, Azam¡¯s brother told Hindustan Times that his brother was a sophisticated engineer and nobody could suspect him to be a child kidnapper. ¡°Definitely it would not have been the reason,¡± Akram said further. He also added that the guilty should be given stringent punishment so no other innocent people lose their lives.
