Having to commute to or from work on a two-wheeler is not among the most pleasant experiences one can ask for. Things can be particularly bad in cities like Bengaluru, which is notorious for its slow-moving traffic even on non-rainy days.
Travelling on two-wheelers during rains
You could be stuck in traffic for minutes or even hours, all drenched, hoping for the water to recede and the vehicles in front of you to start moving again. Traveling on two-wheelers also comes with the additional risk of your office laptop, mobile phone, or other work-related documents getting damaged due to the rain.
While you cannot wish away the rain or hope that politicians will soon come up with a magical fix for the traffic woes, the next time you get stuck, you can try this creative yet effective solution.

Stuck in rain? try this
Nihal Danish, a Bengaluru-based travel blogger and content creator, recently shared an ingenious idea to get around in the city during the rain while taking your two-wheeler.
"When it is raining heavily in Bengaluru, and you have no other option but to go to the location, and you also have to take your two-wheeler, then you book a Porter. Get your vehicle inside and also travel in the rain peacefully," Danish said in a recent video posted on his Instagram account, @funtravelestic.
The video also showed Danish and another person traveling with their two-wheelers on a pick-up hired through the app-based logistics service provider Porter.
Cheaper than hiring a cab
Danish further said that the Porter ride was also cheap and it cost him just Rs 200 more than booking a cab.
He, however, added that while it worked for him that day, it might not turn out the same for others.
"I know it might be expensive or probably not meaningful to many, but it helped me a lot that day," Danish said.

How others reacted
The video has since gathered more than 46K likes, and many said that it was, in fact, a great idea. Others, however, disagreed and said that he should have just used a full-cover raincoat.
