Murder of Moose Wala
Moose Wala was gunned down on May 29 close to his native village near Mansa in Punjab.
The incident occurred a day after the Punjab police withdrew his security among 424 others.
Goldy Brar, a Canada-based close confidant of gangster Bishnoi, had claimed responsibility for Moose Wala's murder.
Planning and execution from behind the bars
Bishnoi, who was in Delhi's Tihar Jail, allegedly ordered and executed the murder from behind bars.
Bishnoi hatched a conspiracy and killed Moose Wala for his role in the killing of Akali Dal youth leader Vikramjit Singh alias Vicky Middukhera on August 7, 2021.
This, according to Bishnoi, led to a "rivalry" between him and the Punjabi singer, who had contested the assembly elections earlier this year on a Congress ticket.
According to the Bishnoi gang, Moose Wala was working with the Davinder Bambiha gang, which is closely associated with the Bhuppi Rana gang.
Key conspirators still on the run
Thirteen people have been arrested in the case so far after the first arrest was made on May 30, a day after the murder of Moosewala.
Earlier this month, Delhi Police said that Sachin Bishnoi, one of the key conspirators in the murder, had fled India over a month before the incident.
It is believed that Sachin and Brar made the entire plan to kill the Punjabi singer. Sachin left the country in April.
The Interpol had earlier issued a Red Corner Notice against Satinderjeet Singh alias Goldy Brar who claimed responsibility for Moosewala's killing.
Brar, a native of Sri Muktsar Sahib, had gone to Canada on a student visa in 2017 and had also been wanted in other crimes.
