Heartbreaking Image Shows Firefighter & Koala Helplessly Watching The Forest Burn, In Australia
The raging fires just do not seem to be coming under control even as firefighters across the country are working night and day. Towns have even started running out of water because it is rapidly being used up to fight fires. Even birds there are falling dead from the sky because of heat exhaustion.
The world knows that Koalas are being burnt alive in Australia. The raging fires just do not seem to be coming under control, even as firefighters across the country are working night and day. A bunch of Canadian firefighters voluntarily gave up their Christmas holidays so that they could help douse the flames.
Towns have even started running out of water, because it is rapidly being used up to fight fires.
Eerie photos from a town in Australia, Balmoral, in the New South Wales Southern Highlands, show it to be burned to the ground after the town ran out of water.
Harrowing pictures show a burnt car, covered in ash, among other property and land that has been destroyed.
Another sad image that has come from Australia, showing the helplessness of people and wildlife there is this:
The image was shared on Twitter by Alex Steffen with the caption, ¡®A local firefighter and a koala watch their forest burn in a climate disaster¡¯. The heartbreaking image shows the helplessness of the koala and the firefighter, and the fact that what is happening in front of them is beyond either of their help or control.
Alex credited the image to Eden Hills Country Fire Service. The situation in Australia is not getting any better. Even birds there are falling dead from the sky because of heat exhaustion.
Not only firefighters, even citizens there are offering help to douse the fires and help save as much resources they can.
