A video posted by Instagram user Erin Shaw is making rounds on Instagram. The video shows two old best friends meeting each other after 75 long years. The two gentlemen are army veterans and last met during World War II.
In the video, an elderly couple can be seen entering a building. As the couple enters the building, the man sees his old friend, and without wasting any time, rushes for a hug. Both of them hug each other after 75 years and it shows. The video is too emotional and it will definitely make you sob.
The video was posted with the caption, "Love and friendship can endure anything." Both the army veterans' families were able to find each other through social media. The super text on the video explains, "My 96 year old Navy vet grandpa got to reunite with his best friend from WWII after 75 years apart. They got separated after my grandpa shipped off to Okinawa and they didn't know if the other survived. Our families were recently able to reconnect them using social media."
