'Salute To The Brave Officer': Man Accidentally Falls On Delhi Metro Tracks, Alert CISF Personnel Saves His Life
An on-duty Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel saved the life of a man who fell onto the tracks after slipping on the edge of the platform.
We have seen many instances of cops going above and beyond to save people in need. This is what happened at a Delhi Metro station when an on-duty Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel saved the life of a man who fell onto the tracks after slipping on the edge of the platform.
The incident took place at Shahdara Metro Station on Friday (February 4) and was recorded on CCTV.
A clip shared by CISF on its Twitter handle shows a passenger walking while talking on the phone and suddenly falling on the track at Shahdara Metro Station.
CISF constable, Rohtas, on patrolling duty, immediately jumped on the track and lifted the passenger to safety.
The passenger, later identified as Shailendra Mehta, miraculously got away with no injuries.

The 40-seconds clip has now received more than 24k views on Twitter. People lauded the CISF personnel's prompt action that averted a tragedy.

In the video, two women are seen jumping off the Santragachi-Anand Vihar Express just as it gathered speed. While one of them lands on the platform, the other lost her balance and swerved dangerously close to the gap between the train and platform.
This is when RPF Sub-Inspector Bablu Kumar ran in and pulled her away onto the platform just in time and saved her life. Many others were also seen rushing in to help the woman, including a passenger who tried to jump in to save her.
