Immigration Officer At Dhaka Airport Offers Woman A 'Suitable' Match, Tweet Goes Viral?
Indians are known to have an obsession with matchmaking. Considering that most marriages in the country are arranged by a relative or a family friend, matchmaking is simply engrained in our culture. The culture has bled into our neighbouring countries also, given that things went a little too far when a random stranger offered to set up a woman visiting Bangladesh for marriage.

Woman Gets Confused After Receiving Marriage Advice From Random Immigration Officer
Twitter user Priyanka Basu was rather shocked by the way an immigration officer at Dhaka airport offered to find her a groom out of nowhere. She claimed that the officer told her that she should marry someone in Bangladesh and even got her number to send her suitable matches.
Basu revealed that the officer asked her questions about her parents, her marital status, and her professional details, after which he offered his services free of charge. Basu wrote in her tweet, ¡°Immigration officer at Dhaka airport after enquiring about me, my parents, my marital status and profession has advised me to find a Bangladeshi boy, get married and ¡®settle¡¯ in Dhaka. He also noted my local ph no. and said he would be in touch if a ¡®suitable match¡¯ come up!¡±
