Karthik Subbaraj, who is gearing up for the release of Retro, recently opened up about the disastrous response to Game Changer. He said that the makers changed the story he had given them. The Petta director added that the screenplay too was altered ¡®a lot¡¯.
¡°There were a lot of people, a lot of writers. The screenplay has been changed a lot. The story has also changed a little bit,¡± added the filmmaker.
Karthik Subbaraj said that the original story was about a grounded IAS officer who becomes a politician, but it eventually 'became a different world¡¯.
