Donald Trump's Return To The White House Made Everyone Think Of SRK's Iconic Scene From K3G
Before he entered his official residence, Trump landed on the South Lawn in a helicopter. The whole scene has reminded Bollywood fans of the iconic moment when Shah Rukh Khan returns to the Raichand residence in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. You can picture it in your head right now, can't you?
US President Donald Trump is known for being extra. He loves being the centre of attention. There is no denying that every time he talks, netizens catch something or the other that amuses them.
He is also big on theatrics and after spending three nights in the hospital for testing positive for COVID-19, he returned to the White House yesterday. Even while suffering from the highly contagious disease, he manages stay in the news for his over-the-top antics.

The video which made everyone go, "Aaaa...aaaa" (insert K3G soundtrack here), was posted on the US President's official Twitter handle, just like everything else he shares on the micro-blogging website.

Well, as much as we love Shah Rukh Khan, the sentiments weren't the same here. However, that did not stop people on social media from poking some fun at the 45th US President and his love for drama. Even people who did not know about the film, agreed once they watched the legendary scene.
It won't take you, an Indian, even a second to imagine the scene from the film as Trump descends from the helicopter and walks towards the White House. The only thing missing is Jaya Bachchan walking towards him with a thali in her hands.

Trump also received flak for removing his face mask as soon as he entered the White House. Just shortly after leaving the hospital, he told Americans to "get out there" but to be careful of the virus. Through a video message on Twitter, the US President said, "Don't let it dominate your life -- get out there, be careful."
The novel coronavirus has claimed more than 200,000 lives in the United States. According to a Reuters report, six US hospitals reported record numbers of hospitalised COVID-19 patients. The rise in cases and COVID hospitalisation has come during the same time as the President and several members of his White House staff testing positive for the novel coronavirus.
Trump's doctors claimed on Tuesday that the President was not exhibiting any symptoms after he left the Walter Reed Medical Center where he received treatment for three days.
