The Unsolved Mystery Of 62 School Kids Who Claim To Have Seen A UFO Landing Outside Their School

The possibility of extraterrestrial life has always piqued our interest. Is mankind alone in the universe? There have always been questions asked about whether there are other intelligent beings looking up into their night sky from very different worlds.

Adding to the curiosity, are the multiple 'mysterious object' sightings over the years. There have been instances where people have claimed to have spotted something strange, but one particular case stands out.

The incident dates back to September 16, 1994, when 62 children claimed they saw a UFO landing outside their school in Zimbabwe.

Almost 28 years ago, the pupils claimed they saw a disc-shaped craft land from the sky and stop in a field outside Ariel School in Ruwa.

The case has continued to fascinate experts due to the vast number of students who all claim to have seen the same thing.

Since most UFO sightings tend to occur in the West, the case of something peculiar being seen in Africa garnered more of the world¡¯s attention when it happened.

The witnesses have been given the chance to tell their side of the story in a new documentary called Ariel Phenomenon.

But doubts continue to persist as to whether the kids did see an alien spacecraft or was it a case of mass hysteria.

The film¡¯s director Randall Nickerson told The Sun that the witnesses must have their chance to be heard and not have their experience dismissed.

"We have to be able to be truthful about people's experiences and say 'well, maybe we don't understand what is going on," Nickerson told The Sun.

"It is necessary at this point, we are seeing more and more as our technology develops. It is something we have to have a conversation about and explore - and Ariel is a big part of that," he added.
