Captioned as ¡®This is how octopuses use camouflage in the wild,¡¯ the video shows an octopus moving about near the sea bed and then blending in with its surroundings by changing its colours.
In the beginning, the octopus is grey, which soon changes to black-brown and by the end of the video, the eight-limbed creature decided to blend its colour and texture with that of the sea bed.

Back in September, another video of an octopus changing colours while sleeping went viral on social media.
A marine biologist amusingly narrated - how an octopus changes colours in sleep - in this clip from PBS¡¯s 'Octopus: Making Contact'.
David Scheel of Alaska Pacific University explains the colour changes of a sleeping octopus named Heidi. At the start of the clip, the napping octopus was a pearly-white colour. But as it sleeps dark patterns appear and constantly keep shifting.
Nature offers something new everyday!
