US Couple Places Online Order For A Bicycle, Gets A Bearded Dragon Instead
Al and Chris Brummett ordered a bicycle as a gift for a granddaughter. Two days later the package arrived with a bearded dragon. Riverside County Animal Services say the dragon appears to be in good health and was likely someones pet.
Online orders can be a massive disappointment at times, it may not always look exactly what they are advertised to be.
But this US couple were quite sure that bicycle couldn't possibly look like a bearded dragon.
But that's what they found in their package.
According to Riverside County Animal Services, Al and Chris Brummett ordered a bicycle as a gift for a granddaughter. Two days later, the package arrived. Mr. Brummett made the startling find after he pulled out the frame and other parts. He moved things to the side to ready his assemble job and there was a critter staring back at him.
¡°At first I freaked out because he was so big,¡± Brummett said. ¡°Here was this massive lizard looking over his shoulder at me.¡± His reaction was almost a cartoonish, double take. ¡°There he was, and he had this look, such as ¡®what the heck just happened?¡¯¡± he said.
The bearded dragon is native to Australia and is legal to have as a pet.
Riverside County Animal Services say the dragon appears to be in good health and was likely someone's pet. It may have crawled into the box during the packing process.
