According to a Timesnow report, the incident was reported in Naubatpur, a satellite town in Patna where the couple, Satyanand and Rani Kumari, were married in love marriage 45 days ago.

The hapless husband went to the police and informed them about his ordeal, claiming that she had broken the safe's locks and fled with Rs 20,000 in cash, a mangal sutra,' and the jewelry that had been gifted to her during the wedding.
According to Bhaskar, the two met two years ago and immediately felt a connection.

They fell in love and spent evenings on their phones talking to each other. When their parents objected to their relationship, they claimed they could not even live without one another, and on April 27, 2022, they were married in an extravagant ceremony.
