Video: Woman Steals Neighbour's Package Without Realising She's Getting Recorded On The Security Camera
A daytime package theft was caught on CCTV which shows a young woman running across someone's front yard to steal the package and run away from the scene as quickly as possible.
Did you know that it is quite a common practice to leave courier and deliveries to be left outside the recipient's front door in the west? However, that could be very risky when it comes to thieving neighbours but what can one do, right?
So, if you live in a safe neighbourhood, you've got nothing to worry about. However, if there are people around who want to cause trouble, then having your package left outside is not the best idea since you will never get it.

The woman was so dedicated to stealing the delivered package that she did not even care when her top shifted and she was partially naked. She was also running with no shoes on and people think it is because she might live nearby.
What she did not know is that the doorbell was fitted with a security camera. Her face was captured in the camera and she can be easily tracked down. Reporter Janelle Bludau shared the video on her Twitter handle.

'We¡¯re still investigating, and hopefully we¡¯ll be able to potentially get her into custody soon,' Alan Rosen, Harris County Precinct 1 Constable told Fox News.
However, she might not face any criminal charges. Instead, she might have to pay a minimum dollar amount for a stolen item before its theft changes in severity from a misdemeanour to a felony.
The irony here is that since she had a wardrobe malfunction, the package she stole contained a new dress from Nordstorm.

Fox News also reported that recent years have seen a spike in "Front-porch package thefts¡± as online shopping has become a common practice. The thefts go up in number around the holidays since people shop a lot during that time.
The sale of doorbell cameras has been increasing lately due to this. Gov. Greg Abbott signed a new law two years ago, which increases the penalty for ¡°serial porch pirates.¡±
