As per the recently revealed data from DGCA, India's domestic air passenger traffic hit a record high of 15.20 crore in the calendar year 2023. This is 8.34% higher than the total domestic passenger volume of 2022, which was recorded at 12.32 crore.
Number Of IndiGo Passengers In 2023
IndiGo flew 9.19 crore passengers in 2023, accounting for 60.5% of all domestic passenger traffic.
