Sandeep Reddy Vanga responded lately to those who had criticized the endings of his movies, Animal and Kabir Singh. Ranbir Kapoor starred in Animal, which recently dominated the movie office, while Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani lead Kabir Singh, a remake of Vanga's Arjun Reddy. Vanga reasoned that some viewers were against his films' climax because of their "personal agenda."
He told Dainik Bhaskar that if Shahid's character Kabir Singh had admitted his inappropriate behavior with Preeti (Kiara) in the film and gone solo, everyone would have been satisfied. at a similar vein, they desired Ranvijay (Ranbir) from Animal to suffer at the end.
Vanga said, ¡°People are accustomed to a hero giving a lecture in the climax. He should accept on the screen that what he did was wrong, that is when people get satisfied. They wanted Kabir to accept that he was wrong and that he should not have gotten Preeti. In Animal too, there were so many consequences, the father is going to die, his wife will be leaving him, his health is gone for a toss. Aur kya chahiye, maar dun hero ko climax mein? (What else do you want? Do you want me to kill the hero in the climax?)¡±
He added, ¡°It¡¯s a problem when people don¡¯t get the desired climax. When personal agenda comes in between watching a film, then Avatar will be boring, Animal kya hai?¡±
In the same interview, Sandeep said, ¡°Since it is 40 days, bohut zyaada overwhelming, and main khud soch main pad gaya wala response mila tha Ranveer Singh se. He spoke to me for almost 40 minutes on phone. And jitna lengthy message diya hein, woh main 3-4 baar pada hoon abhi tak. Bata nahi sakta kaisa hai ki, par bahoot maza aya message padke! He wrote a lot of things about Animal which I thought, 'Arre yaar yeh bhi hain nah film mein'. Waisa.¡±
