'Vir Das Won't Be Allowed To Perform In Madhya Pradesh', MP Minister On 'Two Indias' Row
Vir Das who is in the US at the moment uploaded a six-minute video on?YouTube Titled 'I come from two Indias' and all hell broke loose.?
From people and politicians accusing him of defaming India to several others demanding his arrest, things have got worse now as?Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has stated recently that the comedian-actor won't be allowed to perform in Madhya Pradesh.
"We won¡¯t allow such jesters to perform. If he tenders an apology, we are going to think over it," Narottam Mishra told PTI.
Mishra also criticised those supporting him and said, "Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also defames India on foreign land. MP Congress chief Kamal Nath also does it. Such type of people like him, I call them ¡®vidushak¡¯ (jester) would not be allowed to perform in the state. If he (Das) apologises, we are going to think over it".??

Senior Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi had criticised Das for "vilifying the nation" and actor Kangana Ranaut demanded strict action against the comedian.
Meanwhile, several celebrities including?Richa Chadha and Hansal Mehta among others have come out in support of Vir Das.??
