The ECI has directed that all wine shops and bars in the affected and adjacent constituencies must remain closed during the dry day period. "All wine shops and bars will be closed on polling day to maintain public order," stated the ECI directive. This measure is crucial for preventing disruptions during the elections.

The prohibition starts at 6 PM the day before voting and ends at 6 PM on the voting day. This measure is to prevent any attempts to influence voters with free liquor.
