Om Mahajan turns 18 in December, but he already holds the new record for the fastest bicycle journey across India, as per a report in PTI.?

"About six months ago, I began training for the qualifier ride for RAAM which was to happen in November," he added.?
However, instead of the standard 600-km qualifier, Om decided to do a "Race Across India".?
He began from Srinagar a week back, braved the MP heavy rains southern heat and then made it to his destination.?
The current Guinness Book record for the fastest bicycle ride from Srinagar to Kanyakumari belongs to Mahendra Mahajan who is his uncle.?
But it was recently broken by Lt Col Bharat Pannu, who did it in eight days and nine hours. However, it is not yet entered in the Guinness Book.?
Om's target was that record.?
