On Saturday morning, a bus operated by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) suddenly swerved on the Bengaluru-Tumakuru highway, leaving it hanging off the Madanayakanahalli flyover near Nelamangala.?
The bus, carrying around 40 passengers from Somwarpete to Bengaluru, lost control while navigating the flyover ramp, according to Nelamangala traffic police.

In an attempt to avoid a collision with another vehicle, the driver swerved the bus, causing it to hit the median dividing the highway.
The collision's impact left the front of the bus on the road, while the rear hung perilously over the flyover's edge, about 40 feet above the ground.?
The bus came to a stop after striking the flyover's retaining wall, averting a potentially catastrophic fall to the road below.
Eight people, including the driver and conductor, sustained minor injuries in the incident.
