Runway yoga, really? "Why not?" asks instructor Pavadee Komchokpaisan, 30. "This is a very special event for me," she said, adding that this was the first time yoga had been done on the runway.
Around 500 yoga enthusiasts and influencers, started showing up at 5:00 am at Bangkok's main airport on Saturday, not bothered by the dark sky that early and slowly making their way to their mats on the runway.
"Today is going to be very special," the instructor said while urging participants to "put your coconut in the air!""Feel like a beautiful bird," she said, as a plane made its way across the concrete before lifting off leaving the enthused yoga-goers on the tarmac.

The event was organised by Brew Yoga, and?scores were seen clad in the yoga uniform of black leggings and cropped white t-shirts emblazoned with the word 'Brew.'
"This was something fun, this was a nice event," said lawyer Rugeradh Tungsupakul who was attending with a friend. "Right now, because of our jobs, we are too busy to go to a yoga studio."?Rugeradh checked the air quality before stepping out, a perennial issue for Bangkok quite like India.?
"Right now, it's not too bad," she admitted.??
Instructor Pavadee Komchokpaisan was all praises for Bangkok's yoga community: "We have so many people come here to just join the yoga class, and take a picture on a runway."
