S Nandhini, a Class 12 student from the Dindigul district, has emerged as the topper in the higher secondary examinations, scoring a perfect 100 in all six subjects and achieving 600/600.?
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) declared the results on Monday.
"The result of Class XII has been declared. I scored 600/600 marks. This makes me very happy. My grandmother and teachers supported me," she said."My father is a daily wage laborer, but he never tried to stop me from studying. He told me that my education is my wealth and has encouraged me," she added.?
N Gayathri, a student of a Chennai Corporation-run school, has achieved remarkable success in the recent exams by scoring 592 marks.?
"Education is the only thing that will change our lives in many ways. Education is the only way to understand others," said Gayathri, underscoring the importance of having a goal and path in life.

Another example is Monisha, the daughter of a single mother working as a sweeper who has achieved a commendable score of 499 in her recent exams.
"We shouldn't give up studies having our present situation in mind. Today may be life is not in our hands, but it will change tomorrow. It can change with our education or talent. So we should study well," said Monisha, who was identified and nurtured by Karunalaya, a nonprofit.
The exams, which took place in March-April, saw 8,03,385 students appearing, out of which 7,55,451 cleared them with flying colors. These results indicate the students' impressive performance despite the challenging circumstances caused by the ongoing pandemic.
