In great news for customers, an aircraft-themed restaurant named HighFly opened up in the Vadodara district of Gujarat on Wednesday.?Located on the main road near the highway of Vadodara city, customers can now fulfil their dream of 'eating in the air' while sitting on the ground.
An Airbus 320 was bought at a cost of Rs 1.40 crores from a company in Bangalore to build this restaurant. Each part of the aircraft was brought to Vadodara and it was remodelled as a restaurant. It is worth somewhere around Rs 2 crore currently. It has a capacity of 102 people.??

He added, "The restaurant will make you feel like you are travelling in a real-life aircraft. Different food options are available here, including Punjabi, Chinese, Continental, Italian, Mexican and Thai."
The visitors will get an experience of being in a real aircraft at this restaurant. The waiters and servers are dressed to resemble air hostesses and stewards. The restaurant will make you feel like you are travelling in a real-life aircraft because there are continuous announcements taking place.?
The Highly Aircraft Restaurant is located on Highway Bypass Road so that you can enjoy a meal late into the night. The owner of the aircraft restaurant said it took him a long time to build the restaurant.After he started the project, it took a long time to complete due to the sudden onset of the Corona epidemic, which delayed its launch.
This restaurant is the ninth aircraft-themed restaurant in the world. In India, this is the fourth restaurant to have been developed using a scrapped aircraft.??
There are eight such aircraft restaurants globally, including Taupo in New Zealand, Accra in Ghana, Ludhiana in Punjab and Mori in Haryana.
