After numerous incidents of Ola's electric scooters catching fire were reported, another blasphemous error has come to light. Twitter user Sreenadh Menon took to the microblogging website to share a picture of his Ola electric scooter which was broken into two parts.?
Tagging Ola Electric, and CEO of Ola, Bhavish Aggarwal, Mr Menon wrote, "The front fork is breaking even in small speed driving and it is a serious and dangerous thing we are facing now, we would like to request that we need a replacement or design change on that part and save our life from a road accident due to poor material used."
As soon as the tweet was shared, many others started sharing their own complaints about the Ola Electric scooter.?
"This is a misery that happened to me. The front fork got collapsed while hitting a wall at a speed of 25kmph in eco mode along an uphill side. Similar issue happened to some other customers in plain road also. Take this as a serious and most urgent problem and resolve it soon," wrote one user.
To this, Ola Electric replied, "Hi, we¡¯re going to connect with you over call shortly, so we can look into this and get back to you."
"This is a concern that the company should rectify as soon as possible for all customers. A serious quality issue which cannot be left as a single product issue," wrote another user.
"This is serious. Should be rectified immediately for safety. Hope no more arrogant responses and permanent resolutions," said a third user.
