Delhi elections are taking place as we speak. Voters have been made aware of their responsibility and duty to cast vote time and again and not look at this day as a day off. Every vote counts and exemplifying that, a groom prioritised voting over his wedding.?
Images and video of a groom going to a polling booth in a Municipal Corporation of Delhi primary school Shakarpur dressed up in sherwani, going to cast his vote are going viral.
?He can be seen with his family, dressed up in wedding clothes queueing up with others to vote.?
What did they do while waiting in the queue? Well, they literally brought the whole band baja baraat along, so they made the best use of that and started dancing right outside the polling booth. The video of the same is going viral on social media. The groom and his family seem pretty happy and unbothered by the queue outside the polling booth.
The bridegroom and his family members even got clicked after casting their vote and must have gone off dancing on the beats of the dhol.?
You can delay your wedding for an hour or so, but you cannot delay your duty as a citizen of this country.?
