A woman in UP apparently faced the exact same situation when she ordered a watch from Flipkart and in return received cow dung cakes.?
In another horrifying shopping fail, one woman reportedly received cow dung cakes after she had ordered a watch from the shopping website.?Neelam Yadav, of Kasenda village, Kaushambi, UP, had ordered the watch during a shopping festival on the app.?Neelam had?ordered the watch for her brother?Ravendra.?
Neelam had place her order on September 28, and had opted to pay the amount of Rs 1,304 in cash at the time of delivery.?According to a?Navbharat Times?report, it arrived nine days later on October 7 and was exchanged for the promised price.??
Following the same day, Ravendra returned and inspected what he thought would be a wristwatch. He was left shocked to find the Flipkart delivery agent had handed his sister a packet of four small?cow dung?cakes.??
This inconvenience caused quite a stir in the family and was subsequently handled by Ravendra himself. According to reports,?Ravendra called up the delivery boy and chased him down to Chail town to settle the grievance.?The delivery guy agreed to return the money and collected the mistakenly delivered cow dung cakes from the customer.?
Earlier this year, Yashaswi Sharma,?an IIM-Ahemdabad graduate,?had ordered a laptop for his father. He also?ordered a laptop on Flipkart during the 'Big Billion Day' sale. But he was left shocked after he received?Ghadi detergent?instead.?Online shopping goof-ups have become a recurring theme.?
According to a LinkedIn post by Yashaswi Sharma, Flipkart's customer support is blaming him even though they sent Ghadi detergent sachets in place of a laptop.??
