Anand Mahindra is someone who doesn¡¯t shy away from criticism. He takes it with a pinch of salt and promises to work on it. Business tycoon and Mahindra chairman, Anand is a powerful social media user who has not only shared his point of views on current affairs but also helped out a lot of people in need.
Recently, a troll slammed Mahindra vehicles and called them ¡®trash cars¡¯. Had it been anyone else it would have gone unnoticed but not only did Anand Mahindra reply to this but did so with a lot of humility and grace.
The discussion unfolded following Mahindra's announcement of the release of the XUV3XO, a subcompact SUV, with a starting price of Rs 7.49 lakh.
"Your cars can't compete with Japanese or Americans in their own land. Enjoy import substitution policies while they last. Mahindra will disappear as tariffs get reduced. Trash cars," an X user commented on Anand Mahindra's post.

To this, the industrialist replied: "Thank you for your skepticism. It only fuels the fire in our bellies. I was told exactly the same thing when I joined the company in 1991. Global consultants advised us to exit the industry. We were told the same thing when Toyota and other global giants in the UV space entered India. But we¡¯re still around. Every day is a fight for survival. And we relish it. We hope to be around for the next 100 years, still fighting¡ªevery single day¡ªfor your approval."

Parallely, the Mumbai-based automaker has declared their plans to initiate both online and offline orders for the XUV3XO starting May 15. Deliveries are scheduled to begin on May 26.
